1. Not everything is what it seems to be, Michael Joseph Jackson invented the boots he used for the famous “lean” in the video of “smooth Criminal” that allowed him to lean so far ahead that he seemed to defy gravity. Of course he filed a patent application for them.
2. Michael came under immense criticism for reshaping his “nose” through surgery by his Afro-American fans saying he is reshaping his nose to more “white” than black. This nose thing is quite understandable since Michael was verbally abused by his father Joseph Walter Jackson, a steel mill worker, who used to say “you have a fat nose boy”.
3. Michael was a family man. He kept all of his brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Randy with him. His family includes three sisters Rebbie, La Touta and Janet.
4. Michael didn’t really sleep in an oxygen rich capsule that was donated to him.
5. Michael had “Laughofobia”, he couldn’t stop laughing out loud once he had begun.
6. He loved it when the stewardess of an airplane would announce safety measures before takeoff of the plane. I am not sure whether it’s the vocal part or the acting part. I love the acting part.
7. There has been a strong controversy on whether Michael, brought up as Jehovah’s Witness as his mother Katherine Esther Scruse was a devout to, embraced Islam or not. There are many arguments in favor of it and similar in count of those against it. I won’t take sides here but if he did so would have been due to the reason that he was very spiritual. He saw God in everything. Since Islam is all about spiritualism it might have been the case. If he didn’t then I’d say the Israeli source of the news lied.

9. Michael was a shy person off stage. On the stage he was bold and a complete entertainer.
10. Michael had won 13 Grammy Awards in his lifetime.
11. Having sold over 750 million albums, his assets are said to have a worth of a gigantic $700 million.
12. Michael had a rare skin disease called Vitiligo in which there is loss of brown pigment from different areas of skin that results in white patches. It usually happens when cells responsible of giving our skin a color malfunction or die altogether. The news was released in 1993.
13. Michael, according to various reports, had somewhere in between 20 to 50 surgical procedures, mostly of his face, which cost him about $1 million.
14. Michael’s all time hit album “Thriller” (1982) sold a massive 110 million units.
15. Michael had 7 letters in his first and last name. He was born on August 29, 1958, that would be 19+58=77. He died on 25th of June, 2009, that would be 2+5=7. Each of his three most successful albums namely Thriller, Bad and Dangerous produced 7 top 40 hits. His hits Black & White, and Billie Jean topped the charts for 7 weeks. He was the 7th child in his family. He had his will signed on July 7, 2002 and his memorial service was held 7 years later on July 7, 2009. That’s weird.
