Happy New year 2010: The new year has just entered like many other years. But one needs to ask himself that did he contribute to make the world a better place. Ig your answer is No then I would ask, do you really feel eligible to celebrate the new year 2010.
On the eve of New year 2010 one must review the good and evils done.
do you think that you have contributed enough to make this year a one to celebrate. I was just searching the web and came to conclusion that many are there that are celebrating but dont you think it is not true. Why do we forget the people who are striving for life in many parts of the world, why dont we remember those who have been victim of terrorism? If you can answer these questions… you should celebrate.

“The Biggest Loser ASIA will be hosted by Sarimah Ibrahim

After making impression in the Malaysian entertainment scene for the last 13 years, Irish born Sarimah Ibrahim is ready to step on the regional stage. The half Malaysian, half Irish actress, singer, emcee model hosts the first season of the “The Biggest Loser Asia, the Asian variation of the hit US series where over weight contestants from Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia compete in two teams to lose the most weight and pick up the $100,000 prize. The reality TV show began its run on November 24 on the Hallmark Channel.
Sarimah, who turns 32 in February candidly, admits to the thrill she gets out of appearing on the same TV networks as one mega talk show host.
“I watch Oprah Winfrey on Hallmark channel, you know? And hosting a talk show is something I would love to do. If I can help Asian women come out the boxes they have been put in, bring it on.
In her exclusive interview with the Kuala-Lampur based psychologist in training, it’s clear she’s passionate about issues of health and fitness, psychology, and empowerment of women.

Begum Nasim Says, Government has failed to deliver

Begum Nasim, veteran politician and leader of Awami Naional Party (ANP) said that the Government ha failed to maneuver the country out of the crisis.
She told the media at her village,
“If the elected government cannot run the affairs of the state, it should better resign.�
Pakhtun had been greatly affected by the ongoing violence and urged the government to devise policies to improve security, Begum Nasim lamented.
In reply to this query, Begum Nasim Wali said price hike, poverty, inflation, militancy and illiteracy would increase if no remedial measures were taken and the rights of the people were not ensured.
Begum Naseem Wali Khan also said that society takes direction from media and reason for terrorist attack at the Peshawar Press Club was to silent this voice.
She made these remarks while expressing solidarity with the journalists at the Peshawar Press Club.
Khan was accompanied by NWFP senior minister Bashir Bilour at the program. Khan regretted that both the killers and departed were Pakhtun.
She said that the kernel of terrorism, planted by a general, was now out of control.
About NRO, she said that it was a convoluted issue and the people, who gave reprieve to the loans defaulters, had committed a peccadillo.
Begum Nasim Wali has spoken against the government that the government failed to achieve the promises that were made with the Nation, instead of achieving stability in the country, people of this Nation are either dying in terrorist attacks or from hunger. She said if Government is unable to achieve these promises made to its Nation should better resign.

U.S wants Pakistan to take strong action against Taliban

The accomplishment of the troop surge in Afghanistan hinges to go to a noteworthy extent on whether US officials can convince Pakistan to crack down on Afghan insurgents on its side of the border, the wall street journal said on Wednesday, citing senior US officials.
The American officials also seek strong military action against what they call the equator shura of Taliban which Pakistan has not accredited so far.
To change that “there will be concerted diplomatic efforts to address the sanctuary problem� it was said by another senior official in Afghanistan.
It would be very supportive if additional pressure could be put on leadership elements that are causing problems in Afghanistan.
Pakistan so far has no plans to move against Afghan Taliban in its territory. Pakistani officials say their main concern is to strengthen control in South Waziristan.
They also have trepidation the rush could further destabilize Pakistan by angering the 27 million ethnic Pukhtun who straddle the border.

Tyra Banks will be focusing on her TV gig after wrapping up show in 2010

The world would lose yet another talk show in the next decade. While we were still preparing for the with drawls that would come after the, ‘The Oprah Winfery Show’ went off air.
Tyra Banks decided to make it a double sock to the gut by announcing The Tyra Banks show (TTBS). The TTBS will discontinue after its fifth season, which wraps production in spring 2010.
TTBS was formatted pretty much like Oprah, with the compelling tagline, “Every woman has a story…and it happened in Tyra too�
Tyra Banks will be focusing on her TV gig, America’s Next Top Model after winding up The Tyra Banks Show.

Obama cities security flaws amid Yemen

Barack Obama lashed out systematic intelligence failures over an attempted attack on a US jet amid reports on Wednesday, that Washington was planning reappraisal strikes against target in Yemen.
The US president on Tuesday was told , there had been warnings of possible Christmas holidays attacks and information that the Nigerian would be bomber was a threat but the date was not properly dispersed.
It was reported by CNN that the US and Yemen were reviewing targets for strikes after a local Al-Qaeeda associate claimed liability for the attempt to designate chemicals stored in the world be bombers under parts. The man accused of trying to blow up the North West air liner over Detroit, 23 years old Umar Farook, Abdul Mutalab was in Yemen until earlier this month.
Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Kurbi said “of course there are a number of Al-Qaeeda operatives in Yemen, they may actually plan for attacks like the one we have just had in Detroit.

Laura Bush killed a guy

The responsible person for all the damge and destruction in Iraq and Afghanistan was caused by Mr. Bush the former president of United States but he could not run away with it despite he blamed all the muck he created on “Weapons of mass Destruction� and “Osama Bin Laden�.
The killing appeared to be some kind of genetic disorder with Bush family. It is discovered that former first Lady Laura Bush killed a guy when she was only 17 years old.
Michael Douglas was a young athlete with much potential to play as a footballer. Douglas was not just a star player in the school, he was also an ex-boyfriend of Laura Bush – then Laura Welch.
Laura along with a friend crossed a stop sign, and their mistake cost Douglas his life. In the accident Douglas was hit on his neck. They rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital but he succumbed to the injuries. Laura and her friend were treated for minor bruises.
The rumors put the story in somewhat this manner that Laura killed that guy because she had a grudge that she had developed as her relation with her boyfriend had gone sour.

Rush Limbaugh Heart Attack

It was reported that the conservative radio talk show host, Rush Limbaugh recently had a pain in his chest. He was in Hawaii when he got the attack. He was hospitalized as his condition is said toe was serious then.
Rush Limbaugh, 58 was taken to the hospital in Hawaii, “The Queens Medical Center” located in Honololu. The Rush Limbaugh hospital declared emergency after the paramedics staff responded to a call around 2:41 PM on Wednesday afternoon from the Kahala Hotel and Resort. Limbaugh was staying there on a vacation.
Previously, this week, he was seen golfing at the Waialae Country Club which is next to the hotel.

Rush Limbaugh hospitalized

It is reported that Rush Limbaugh was hospitalized after he had a chest pain in Hawaii. He is the Conservative radio talk show host.
It was said by the Emergency Medical Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic that paramedics took a male of unknown age to an area hospital from the Kahala Hotel and Resort. He told that no more information was there.
It was in 2001, when Limbaugh had stated that he had lost most of his hearing due to an autoimmune inner-ear disease. He had surgery to have an electronic device placed in his skull to restore his hearing.
Then after two years, Limbaugh acknowledged he was addicted to pain medicine. He blamed the addiction on severe back pain, and took a five-week leave from his radio show to enter rehab.
