The best way to treat acne is to control the oil production by the skin. There are various ways to control the oil produced by the oil glands of the skin. Various factors involves in stimulating oil production. These factors include our hygiene and our diet.
For oily skin, the medical products containing benzoyl per oxide and salicylic acid are very effective. These elements help in controlling oil very effectively. It seems to be a little bit contrary to treat oily skin with acne through oils but rosehip oil and jojoba oil have proved to be very effective for oily skins. It should be noted that these oils are not thick and greasy but very light and mild oils. These oils fight the bacteria and make you get rid of pimples. You can mix these oils with other ingredients to get better results. Mix two drops of rosehip oil to ten drops of water and apply two times daily. Mix ten drops of jojoba oil with three drops of tea tree oil and apply daily. Tea tree oil is another effective natural ingredient for treatment of acne. Do not skip or quit the usage of these naturally occurring oils for at least a month to get proper and long lasting results.
People with oily skin should consider following steps while taking care of their skin:
1. Drink plenty of water, about ten to eight glasses a day. Have many green veggies and eat fruits to have a healthy skin. Avoid oily and sweet foods and foods with saturated fats.
