The singing and cheering began as Adam Scott went to the 18th green to complete a command performance yesterday at the invitation of Bridgestone in Akron, Ohio, and win his first world championship golf.
But in a surreal scene at Firestone, it was not for him.
They were intended for his younger brother.
Steve Williams said, they shouted as the new partner Scott broke into a smile.
