What made Casey Anthony “not guilty”?
July 6, 2011
What made Casey Anthony not guilty? This is an easy question to answer yet many people all around US are surprised on the verdict of the court in Casey Anthony case. Here are some highlights that were used by defense to force the jurors make this decision:
• The defense knew that the prosecutor could not prove the cause of Casey Anthony’s death, so this was one big area to create confusion. As the causes of death remained unknown, nothing could prove that it was indeed the mother Casey Anthony that killed her 2 and half year old daughter.
• Despite the prosecutor came up with pictures that showed Casey parting and having fun after her daughter was missing, it yet did not prove in any way that Casey killed her and the defense said that Casey believed that Caylee was with her nanny. So this yet created a not convincing fact but it created a ground that could not prove that Casey Anthony was doing it intentionally.
• Third, the defense always knew that there were more questions than answers in this particular case, therefore every time they jurors could reach a conclusion to any point; the defense will create more set of questions which made the situation vaguer.
• The defense at all times was aware of the fact that a very less or o number of people are actually having any sympathies with Casey Anthony, therefore they advised Casey to have a certain conduct in the court that could illustrate that how much she missed her daughter.
In all this situation, that could not prove anything against Casey the jurors were forced to take this decision as judgments are made on evidence and proves not on what were the scenarios and what tattoos were made. So for now, we do not know who killed Caylee Anthony but many eyebrows do rise at George Anthony whose name was used by Casey time and again in the case and after all the murder did look like work of more than one person at some points.
