Lorenzo Emile Charles, who is best known for taking a last second desperation shot from teammate Dereck Whittenburg and slam dunk-NC State Wolfpack basketball team to an NCAA title in 1983 championship, died Monday afternoon in an accident bus on Interstate 40 in West Raleigh.
Police said Charles, 47, drove a bus charter to the west of I-40 when he lost control of the exit ramp and crashed into a group of trees. It was the only person on the bus.
A police accident reconstruction unit from Raleigh remained at the scene Monday night with a unit of Highway Patrol North Carolina to determine the cause of the accident, police spokesman Jim Sughrue said. The accident blocked two lanes of I-40 for several hours.
The news of Charles’s death spread quickly among the Wolfpack players, fans and others that he had touched.
It’s simply an awful day, Whittenburg stated. An awful, awful.
The new NC State basketball coach Mark Gottfried played for Alabama in 1985 by Charles the NCAA tournament. Two remembered about the game, Wolfpack win, when Charles visited last week the coaching staff on campus.
He had a big smile on his face, and was so full of life, said Gottfried. We lost a great, and I’m not just talking about the basketball player. He had a grand persona.
Join Charles in the world of sports has gone beyond his contributions in the field. He led the Duke lacrosse team and became a part of the family, coach John Danowski stated Monday. Danowski Charles was talking to the team throughout the NCAA tourney in 2010, prior to the Blue Devils won the nationwide title.
It’s great that scored the winning basket, but there was not much more than that, Danowski stated. Everyone here loved him. We are all without hope.
Carlos was performed for Elite Tours, a company known as Elite Apex coach. Calls to the company were not returned, and no one came to the door after hours.

Tsunami hits north-eastern Japan after earth massive quake

Just few days back an earth quake had hit Japan and after wards Tsunami warning was issued. And gain today a massive earthquake has hit the northeast of Japan. This quake was 8.8 magnitudes and has triggered a tsunami that has resulted in huge damages.
According to Japan’s TV one can see cars, ships and even buildings being swept away the Fukushima prefecture. Officialdoms said a wave as high as 6m (20ft) may strike the coast.
The earthquake struck about 250 miles (400km) from Tokyo at a depth of 20 miles, shaking building in the capital for several minutes. Prince William and Kate Middleton visit St Andrews University for the anniversary celebrations.
Prince William and Kate Middleton had a glorious visit to their St Andrews University from where their relationship took start.
Prince William and Kate Middleton met at St Andrews University when they were students over there; the couple was given a warm welcome back when they visited the university.
The couple received a huge welcome from a crowd of about 3,000 people. The crowd gave an enormous cheer when Prince William said that St Andrews is the best university in the world. He also revealed that visiting the university is like coming back home.
“This is a very special moment for Catherine and me…It feels like coming home…Despite being one of Europe’s leading research institutions, the third oldest university in the English-speaking world and of course, far and away the best university in the world, St Andrews has that uncanny knack of feeling like home”, the Prince said.
Dr john Walden, Prince William’s teacher, a senior lecturer in geography revealed that it was “fabulous coup” to see him again. He added that Prince William had made life very easy for us, he made every endeavor to practice a normal student program.

As told at an earlier time by CBR News, comedian writer, cartoon creator and valued industry experienced person Dwayne McDuffie is no longer with us because of problems after a surgical treatment he experienced Monday late afternoon.
Dwayne McDuffie’s more current composition saw him dividing time between caricatures and cartoon, where he composed or made such series like “Justice League Unlimited” plus “Ben 10,” and also numerous DC’s current direct-to-DVD animated motion pictures counting the just-out “All-Star Superman.”
CBR asked several Dwayne McDuffie’s pals and also equals who have nicely permitted to share their views regarding Dwayne McDuffie and his departure.
Joe Casey stated: It’s hard to process the suddenness of Dwayne’s passing. I’m still reeling from the news even as I type this. Dwayne was not only an important, ground-breaking creator in comics and in animation, he was one of the current day-to-day caretakers of “Ben 10.”
Paul Dini stated: To work with Dwayne McDuffie was to be instantly at home with a kindred soul. You spoke the same language, you read the same comics, you tossed around ridiculous characters like B’wana Beast and the Ultra-Humanite with the same ease as two musicians riffing on a beloved childhood song. And like a musician, Dwayne fine tuned his stories until they sang.
Joe Kelly stated: I was lucky enough to get to meet Dwayne a few years ago just before he officially came on to “Ben 10.”
Steven T. Seagle stated: It is very sad news for all of us in the Man of Action group to hear of the death of Dwayne. While I previously only knew of Dwayne through his work, his arrival as story editor on our “Ben 10″ series a few years back created opportunities for me to get to know him as a person.

Thousands of teen girls, crazy for Justin Bieber greeted him at the premiere of his movie last night.Justin Bieber, 16 made all the people overwhelmed by emotions when he distributed free tickets to “Never Say Never” and blew kisses to them.
The 16-year-old Canadian singer had spread an air of high emotions among his fans, so much that his site made them burst into tears.
The Beliebers (Justin Bieber fans) became excitedly frantic with his presence in front of their eyes…he made them all cry with emotions.
Justin Bieber had recently astounded everyone in US when he commented about politics and sex for the first time.
The 16-year-old breath taker said, “I really don’t believe in abortion. It’s like killing a baby?”When questioned about sex, he replied, “I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them.”When questioned about rape cases, he replied that it very sad but “everything happens for a reason”. Bieber said that he has never been in such position that is why he cannot comment about it.
Justin Bieber also has knowledge of politics. In an interview, he said, “I’m not sure about the parties. But whatever they have in Korea, that’s bad.”

Julio Garcia Ncis Death

NCIS has left shooting to another time following Julio Garcia, a security watch on the location of the program, was put to death in a crazy accident previous week.
52 years old Garciawas on the NCIS location tenting a performance region at 10 a.m. when he was smashed by a van brought into play on the location by production team.
60 years old Ralph Blunt was on the drive for the van when he got carried away the van after experiencing some sort of unidentified medical state. The vehicle smashed Garcia and after that two parked autos.
CBS told in a report on Wednesday that production on the location of NCIS carries on to be put on hold and will stay so up to further notification.
“Everyone at the network, the studio and NCIS is devastated by the news,” CBS told in the report. “Our hearts grieve for his family and friends for this tragic loss. We are, of course, cooperating with the local authorities in Santa Clarita to help determine what caused this terrible accident.”
NCIS producers as well stated in a report, “With profound sympathy we mourn the tragic passing of our co-worker and friend. ‘NCIS’ is a family. And, as with any family, we are deeply saddened by this unexpected loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.”
Well I must say it is a worst mishap for CBS team as well as production. A bad gloomy news for the entire team. May Julio Garcia Rest In Peace!

Charlize Theron is going to join Prometheus

The “Sweet November” actress Charlize Theron is going to join Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.
Charlize Theron is in concluded discussions to be starring in Prometheus. Prometheus is Ridley Scott’s baffling science fiction.
Scott had revealed in June that the designed prequel to his 1979 classic is going to be two movies centering on the Space Jockey remains. Ridley Scott said that actually it was a suit having a creature inside.
However, when the 20th century Fox officially declared that Prometheus is a pure science fiction epic unrelated to the former film. A report later on came to make the picture more obscure which said that “the familiar HR Giger-style aliens” do come into view in Prometheus.
Fassbinder, who was casted opposite to Noomi Repace last month revealed that there is a link to Alien.“Oh, absolutely, there’s a definite connecting vein…You realize you’re part of something else, but it’s definitely in keeping with the old ones.” He explained.
However, the role that Charlize Theron is going to play is until now unknown. Repace was given the role of a scientist named Elizabeth Shaw. Fassbinder is most probably the robot named David. The film Prometheus will be released on 8 June 2012.

Kareena did not give importance to Saif on valentine’s day

Saif Ali Khan’s Valentine’s day was ruined when Kareena could not give him any time because of her Award Act rehearsal.
Saif Ali Khan decided to spend a quality time with Bebo on 14 Febuarary but astonishingly the Bollywood glamour girl did not have any time to for him.
Saif had an exhausting shoot in Bhopal for ‘Aarakshan’. However, on Saturday all of the casts were given a day off.
Saif immediately took a flight to Mumbai. But it was unfortunate for him that he could not get any time from Kareena, as she was very busy in her rehearsals for an Awards function. Saif was dejected and went back to Bhopal to continue his shooting.
Bollywood’s most prominent couple will not be together for Valentine’s day. It was previously reported that Kareena did not reveal any important plans for 14 February and now it has been proven true. Saif and Kareena have spent their Valentine’s day miles apart.
The recent stories about Saif-Kareena affair also revealed that they are going to be officially engaged very soon. But with Kareena’s important and busy career, it seems almost impossible to get good news about the couple.

The Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is spending romantic Valentine’s Day with his wife. The couple is having a dinner on the beach.
Vivek has taken his wife for Valentine’s day treat to Kerala for a dinner beside the sea.
Vivek posted a message on his Twitter page which read : “Whisking my wife away to Kovalam for a nice romantic dinner by the ocean on the beach tonight…hope to make it super special and romantic! it’s our first valentine’s day”
Vivek Oberoi got married to Priyanka Alva in October last year.
On Monday morning, 14 February, the couple reached Thiruvananthapuram. Vivek Oberoi was the chief guest for the opening of the film “Given A Chance”. A group of deprived girls has made this film.
Vivek said that it is the best way to celebrate Valentine’s day “This is what I call a true celebration of love. I feel lucky that my wife and I have the same passion for social causes. She says that making these kids feel special today is the best valentine’s gift ever,’.
Vivek and his wife also visited Padmanabha Swamy temple. About this visit, Vivek said that the experience was incredible. The couple had the most beautiful darshan.

Chelsea Clinton has dismissed the rumors regarding her marriage annulment. It was rumored that Chelsea Clinton wants to get rid of her husband Marc Mezvinsky. Marc Mezvinsky was assumed having some mental problem.
The couple was recently seen holding hands at the annual amFAR New York gala at Cipriani Wall Street where Bill Clinton, Chelsea’s father and former president of was honored.
However, the relatives of Mezvinsky still have repeated their point of views regarding Marc’s mental condition.
Marc’s first cousin Andrea Mezvinsky has said “Marc has us ALL worried. I think he’s clearly undergoing a crisis,”
The daughter of Former US president Bill Clinton and Secretary of state Hilary Clinton had tied a marriage bond with Marc Mezvinsky last year.
The Mezvinsky relative said “He’s known Chelsea for a long time, but I think he’s having trouble coping with the pressure of being in the spotlight.,”
Chelsea has not spoken about her marriage at the gala. She spoke only about her father’s success regarding AIDS research.
“That’s a good reason to be proud…And even better reason to be proud is he hasn’t stopped.” She said while giving the honorary award to the former president.
