The Father of Macintosh and Co-Founder of Apple Inc. “Steve Jobs” Death is Most Talked about Internet Event

October 6, 2011

News Worldwide — News came in on Wednesday October 5, 2011 that the father of Macintosh and the brilliant brain behind development of iPhone, iPod and iPad died from cancer at the age of 56. Announcement of Steve Jobs Death came in late from Apple on Wednesday at its official website which read;

“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”

Steve Jobs death came as a shock and triggered a worldwide mourning. With condolences pouring in from everywhere, in my opinion Steve Jobs is the first mega loss of this century. It is said by social media analysts that Steve’s death is going to be the most talk-about internet event of all times. Estimated by an Australian monitoring agency SR7 a massive 10,000 tweets per second and rising may smash media interactivity level of all times.

Websites have taken shape of memorials including Apple’s official website. News channels are informing their audiences about death of Steve Jobs. The devices that Steve built informed its millions of users worldwide that he has departed. Statements of woes are pouring in from executives of Google to those of Facebook, public statements from Bill Gates to President Obama.

A few of them are:
President Barrack Obama said in a statement: “Michelle and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Steve Jobs. Steve was among the greatest of American innovators – brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it.”

Bill Gates and Paul Allen issued a statement: “The death of Steve Jobs has, and will continue to dominate the blogospheres and news feeds for several days to come—and rightly so. Few people have had such a significant and measureable impact on modern life, and his absence will be felt.”

Jerry Brown Governor of California said; “Steve Jobs was a great California innovator who demonstrated what a totally independent and creative mind can accomplish. Few people have made such a powerful and elegant imprint on our lives. Anne and I wish to express our deepest sympathy to Steve’s wife, Laurene, and their entire family.”
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated: “Steve, thank you for being a mentor and a friend. Thanks for showing that what you build can change the world. I will miss you.”

We never would’ve wondered how Steve Jobs changed our lives until today. It was him who made computer a personal machine. We may have had many at our offices but it was him who got us to have in our living rooms, dorm rooms, bedrooms, and even in our pockets. We may continue to see replication of his ideas around us in the future but we won’t be seeing astounding innovations the way he used to give us. We’ll miss you Steve Jobs.

Were we not supposed to Preserve Steve jobs brain like Einstein?

October 6, 2011

News worldwide – It was Steve Jobs who connected the dots but do we actually understand who he was? Steve Jobs was the brain of Apple. Many knew him as a humble and down to earth guy. He rarely talked about himself and that is what made him respectable despite his status and professional rivalries.

The technology that revolutionized world had Steve Jobs so why not save his brain? You would have heard for sure that Albert Einstein’s brain was removed for preservation after his death in a hope that one day science may find a way of sharing the intelligence this brain had.

Similarly, I do believe that Steve Jobs death should not be a full stop to his life and
I suggest that Steve Jobs brain should also be preserved. But before I would have posted this article live. I came across the news that he is buried. But still if in any way we can preserve Steve Jobs brain, we should use that opportunity.
May be one day science does actually find a way to see how his technology can be further advanced. His achievements are not hidden and there are more than hundreds of websites, blogs, magazines and social media channels that are talking about his life, contributions and more.

But now that Jobs is dead and lives no more, we need to salute this guy in a way that does talk about who he was. I am coming across many comments and reviews on Steve Jobs death but I actually want to suggest to all the fans and followers of this guy that come forward and share this post that asks for preservation of Steve Jobs brain. Google celebrates its 13th birthday by changing Google doodle picture

September 27, 2011

News Worldwide – So it is not only me on earth who is celebrating today. It is my 8th wedding anniversary today and as soon as I got online I saw Google doodle new picture. Well, the picture does display a cake and Google wearing those cute birthday hats on letter “g, o and another g” of Google. I actually did not count the candles on cake but it appears that they must be 13.

This Google doodle picture does seem like animated like all other Google doodle pictures but, the cake seems to be real. I wonder if Google is actually having this cake on its 13th birthday.

I also want to add here that even today, I am younger than Google as I am celebrating my 8th wedding anniversary and it seems like I have been with this hubby of mine since ever. Same is what millions of Google users feel about Google. It is just 13th birthday but it feels like Google has been with us since all the time.

Just like our life partners, Google has been with us in hard and happy times. It has given us some tough times too in shape of hackings, software malfunctions and more but one cannot forget that it is also the one who has given us access to the world by a single click of button.

I do not know how Google competitors think or rank Google on its 13th birthday, but if you ask me, I have found it a way of life infact I keep telling my friends that I cannot live with it. Happy Birthday Google. Copyright © 2011

Google+ gets 10 Million Users In First 2 Days Accidentally/Coincidentally

September 25, 2011

News World Wide – I received a mail today in my Hotmail box. The mail was from Google that said a friend of mine has sent me an invitation to get in his Google+ circle. So, I clicked on the link and I was having my own Google+ account activated. It did sound very interesting to me initially. I had heard the news a while back that Google+ is open to limited number of people, so I was kind of overjoyed that somehow I am part of those limited people that are testing Google+.
Then, I realized that the mail that I received on Hotmail was because I have provided my Hotmail address as alternative mail address to my Google account.

So, it was not actually about an invitation to join Google+ by choice but it was kind of a circle made for me to make the news “ Google+ gets 10 Million Users In First 2 Days”. You know, these days Google has turned so powerful that people believe everything that is related to Google. And the news is generated to give some hard time to Facebook. Since a couple of days we have been reading a lot about Facebook Newsfeed, Facebook news and
Facebook related changes. And Google + was also having its launch at a time when both competitors are giving more and more options to the user, Google+ was in dire need to give a news that could have sounded like breaking news. And here it was.

If you recall your memory, Google+ was initially made to give Facebook a competition as previously Google social networking efforts could not compete or decrease the liking of facebook. So this news was actually made accidently. As many people have reportedly not activated their Google+ accounts by choice but rather as an accident or call it coincident.

So, what actually happened when you found that your Google+ account is activated? If you ask me this, I did not like it as suddenly my Google account related products and data disappeared suddenly. And I always find it very annoying when my personal stuff look changes suddenly. The reason is that I am not a technical person and at the moment my things disappear, I started assuming that I did something wrong. So after a few minutes when I clicked each and every link on the new Google + page of my account back and forth, I saw the option of: “Looking for older account options and your Google Products? Visit the previous Version of Google account screen” at the bottom of the page. And as soon as I clicked it I found my real/older version of Google account. And for now I am going to prefer this older version.

If you ask me I am not fascinated my new version and look until they are really user friendly or I have seen someone using them before.

Why NASA satellite hit to earth is so significant this time?

September 24, 2011

News World Wide — By the time Google bots will index my blog, I am not sure if the NASA satellite would have hit the earth as reportedly from on it is expected that the satellite will hit earth in next 24 hours. So therefore I am not going to report what will happen in the next few hours.

This is not the first time a satellite will hit earth. So what is so significant about this NASA satellite? It is the size of this satellite, which is making it worth a worry when it will hit the earth. The satellite was launched back in year 19991. It was monitoring chemicals in the space and while it completed its mission 2005 it gradually started losing altitude.
The particular satellite created an unwanted situation back in 2010 too when it was about to collide with the International Space Station.

Another significant inquiry people want to make after learning the size and implication it can cause is that where on earth will it hit? Though, the exact location of this satellite hit is not known but it will hit somewhere in between Atlanta to the end of South America.

Though, no falling debris has ever reportedly harmed anyone according to NASA’s 50 years of space travel and launch’s yet, this satellite has already created a scare because of its super-size.

According to analysts, the size of this NASA satellite is as big as a double decker bus so when it will reach earth, most probably it would not have burned completely.

Space expert Doug Millard from London’s Science Museum believes it will be worth watching.

He said: “This is one of the largest satellites up there.

“It’s about the size of a double-decker bus. Most satellites when they come down, they are smaller, they burn up and no one notices. Because of the size it’s a little more significant.”

NASA reports that the chances of a piece of the Uars debris hitting a person are about one in 3,200.

The agency is tracking the satellite by radar stations and specialists around the world. Flight Lieutenant Mike Farrington and his team at RAF Fylingdales have been observing the 35ft long satellite since its launch.

He said that the reducing probe is creating difficulty because of its shape, size and speed.

“There’s a great deal of uncertainty over where it will re-enter. Due to the irregular size and shape of this object it’s impossible to say.”

“These things move at about 7.5 kilometres (4.6 miles) per second in space and something moving at that speed is very difficult to predict.”

“We’ve got some world class analysts here who’ve been working round the clock.”

“But it’s impossible for anyone using any of the resources anywhere across the globe to actually predict when and where this object will land.”

It is expected that almost 26 pieces – with a combined mass of about 540kg – to survive the fiery re-entry.

News Worldwide – Thousands of jobs are expected to be created by internet in UK till 2015. This statement was made by Google chief recently. Within a span of five years a boom is expected in internet business in Britain.

Philipp Schindler, the London based vice-president of Google Europe, expected that regardless of the
economic recession 365,000 jobs can be created till 2015. One reason that supports this job creation is the fact that everyday new corporations are created and they are expanding all over the world.

Google UK chief added that the government should take steps towards promoting internet related business. In today’s world when almost everyone is dependent on internet to gather information, there is no downfall expected for internet. So in this scenario, internet related jobs appear to be more durable and of good nature.

One of the best forms of internet business is selling and buying products through online stores. Many individuals all around the world have been using this mode of business. But this also leads towards more tougher completion in terms of appearing on top in search engine results and thus it focuses on more and more optimization. This is a circle and certainly, gives strong clues of job opportunities.
It was also added by Google chef that by 2015 there will be a sharp impact of internet business earning on UK’s GDP.

SO are you part of internet business or are you planning to earn through internet. If yes, I will not say that earning through internet is difficult but it certainly is not for newbies either. Bartz was fired after two and a half years at the tiller of Yahoo! The company tried to get it position back as the Internet pioneer but failed to increase its suffering share price.

It was the same tenure of Carol that Yahoo saw one of the worst times.

After knowing these facts it is apparent why she was fired after all. No doubt Yahoo was one of the leading companies few years back but certainly does not stand there where once it did proudly.

During her tenure as Yahoo CEO Carol negotiated an Internet search deal with Microsoft in a strategic shift away from the Sunnyvale, California-based company’s online search roots and began transforming Yahoo! into a venue for personalized content.
