News Worldwide — Celebrity Latest news brings reports about celebrity fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld ‘s self name line sexy scuba divers in latex leggings. Karl Lagerfeld, the pony tailed Kaiser of contemporary fashion, looked to scuba diving for a latex and vinyl-heavy show of vaguely wetsuit-y looks. For Karl Lagerfeld’s signature label’s fall-winter 2010-11 ready-to-wear collection Sunday, Chanel and Fendi designer Karl Lagerfeld went deep sea diving, displaying high-necked coats in a lot of wools that resembled neoprene over latex leggings. The upper and tops were cut so closely to the body like scuba suits and had stick ons of shiny disc panels. Even the evening looks, beaded dresses fitted with waist belts, were worn with the tight plastic leggings which fitted over glossy blade heels. The models also wore wide vinyl headbands in their windswept puffy appearance.
Celebrity latest news reported that as per usual at Karl Lagerfeld, the collection was mostly black on black, with a handful of looks in rich chocolate tones. Top of the top of the collection included a high-necked, cap-sleeved shirt worn with a black vinyl pencil skirt and leggings and a variety of loose fitting cloaks extending to the hips and knees in shimmery material with fancy origami folds at the neckline and a tighten waist.
Beth Ditto, singer of the U.S. band Gossip and a frequent guest at Karl Lagerfeld’s shows, called the collection “amazing,” though she quickly added, “But I don’t want to talk like someone who knows something about celebrity fashion because I really have no idea.”
Celebrity latest news also added that Karl Otto Lagerfeld (born September 10, 1933) is a German-born fashion designer and artist based in Paris, France. He has collaborated on a variety of fashion and art related projects, most notably as head designer and creative director for the fashion house Chanel. Lagerfeld helms his own label celebrity fashion house, as well as the Italian house Fendi. Karl Lagerfeld immigrated to Paris in 1953. Initially he worked as a draftsman for fashion houses. At the time, in fashion, drawings were preferred over photographs. Lagerfeld is able to recap any costume style in European history at the drop of a hat, e.g., explaining collar styles used in 1710 Germany, as he has demonstrated in a German television series in the 1980s.
