Hollywood megastar Angelina Jolie’s determined directorial first appearance, a love story inlay the backdrop of the Bosnian civil war, has bumped into problem later than officers in Bosnia canceled authorization to film in the country.
The officials come to a decision to cancel the authorization after a women war sufferers cluster made a complaint against the flick, which as per the Bosnian press is a love story flanked by a Muslim sufferer and her rapist, a Serb.
The cancellation of the shooting license is a mode to articulate Bosnian public’s ‘disapproval’, made public Gavrilo Grahovac, the Culture Minister of the Muslim-Croat association which is one of the two units in previous-war Bosnia.

“Since the request (for the shooting) is not in accordance with the law, it is incomplete and not accompanied by the necessary script, Minister Gavrilo Grahovac decided to annul the permit,” the ministry stated in a declaration.
The Academy award victorious star is at present in Hungary, where she has started shooting the drama set in the eras of the civil war that devastated the European state.
“This is misleading history. Among thousands of testimonies by women raped during the war, there is not a single one that tells of a love story between a victim and her rapist. We will not allow anyone to falsify our pain,” Bakira Hasecic stated, the chief of the Women Victims of War Association in Sarajevo.
