Bad sleep may cause obesity
March 8, 2010
News Worldwide — The current health news reveals that a research work has opened up that abnormal sleep habits may lead to fat gain. Adults younger than 40 years of age who slept for not more than five hours each night had more accretion of fat over their bodies in the next five years.

The ones who slept for more than eight hours each night also showed accretion of fats, however, less than the ‘short sleepers’.
The current health news reveals that this study does not give proper evidence that too little or too much sleep directly leads to fat gain or not but it shows that poor sleep habits does make one obese.
Consider following steps for a proper sleep.
1. For a proper sleep, one must relax himself from every aspect.
2. The health and nutrition values demand that snacks that include grains and sugar must be avoided before sleep.
3. One should sleep in complete darkness as light may interrupt your relaxation.
4. Watching TV should be avoided before going to bed.
5. Loud alarm clocks should be avoided.
6. Getting to bed early is very healthy. It will make you wake up early, and excessive sleep will be avoided in this way.
7. Exercise your muscles. This produces lactic acid in your body, which activates sleep centers.
