A morning show Dave Shelly And Chainsaw was on 101.5 KGB in San Diego, California and syndicated on Q103.3 in Temecula, California.
This show was named after its three main hosts, Dave Rickards, Shelly Dunn, and the “Dean of American Sportscasters�, Cookie “Chainsaw� Randolph.
If you want to catch this show, you can get it at 6 to 10 a.m. Pacific Time while it is replayed from 7 to 11 p.m. the same evening.
You can also get it at DSC via KGB’s HD2 multicast called “All DSC, All the Time�. Some portions of the show are also available on the KGB-FM podcasting page.
Previously, the show was named as “The Dawn Patrol� amid their first tenure on KGB Radio. After the moving of the group to Rock 102 (now Rock 105.3), the name was changed to simply “Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw�.
Clear Channel purchased both Rock 105.3 and 101.5 KGB in 1997, and the show came back to KGB-FM.
