David Beckham continues his work for his granddad

David Beckham: The soccer star declares that he would keep his promise and will stay in South Africa because if his granddad were there he would have scolded him for giving up and coming back home.
David Beckham is presently in South Africa to help England’s 2018 World Cup bid. He is spending his time in visiting schools and playing with the local children.
When Beckham landed in South Africa, his dear grandfather died. David Beckham was really attached to 83-year-old Joseph West. The death occurred on Wednesday 2 December 2009. Even after the tragic incident, Beckham has declared that he will stay in South Africa to fulfill his promise instead of going back to England for the funeral.
The soccer celeb included that he is longing to go back home for the consolation of his relatives but says that his granddad would have wanted him to fulfill his bid and stay in South Africa.
“If I had decided to go back home I know what he would have said to me, which I can’t repeat. Granddad would have shouted at me for leaving because he was passionate about this country (England).� David Beckham revealed.
