Worldwide news—disease prevention: The disease prevention experts often call obesity the reason of various diseases like heart problems. Especially in women, obesity causes more disease and harms. The disease prevention experts recently revealed to the news reporters that bicycling and efficient walking could easily prevent premenopausal women from gaining extra weight and remain healthy. ![]()
The disease prevention experts have added that slow walking does not give the benefits like efficient and quick walking, therefore to prevent gaining extra weight or maintaining proper weight it important to walk fast.
The news reporters of health and disease prevention told that in America 66 percent of adults obese, 16 percent of children and teen agers are obese and 34 percent are having potentials of becoming obese.
The purpose of the research study, according to disease prevention news reporters was to find out the relationship between brisk walking or bicycle riding and weight maintenance of premenopausal women.
The study also reveals that briskly walking and bicycle riding showed more benefits in obese and fat women than lean women. However slow walking showed no benefits in maintaining or reducing weight in obese women.
Therefore, women should prefer riding on a bicycle instead of using their car for every minor work.
