Before I began sharing the fun ways to greet eid; I would like to tell: “What is Eid?”, so that you too may wish a friend on this eid.
Eid is an Islamic celebration. Basically there are two eids in Islamic Calendar. One is “Eid ul Adha” while the other is “Eid ul Fitr”. Both the
Eid’s are different. They are celebrated on different part and months of the Islamic year are having different meanings. For now I will share the meaning of “Eid Ul Adha”.
What is Eid ul Adha?
Eid ul Adha is the celebration that takes place after ramadan. To put it more precisely, Eid ul Adha is celebrated after 30 days fasting. On this day many different sweet dishes are prepared and is celebrated for three days.
Fun ways to make Eid Greetings
Eid sms
You can send eid sms to your friends and family on eid morning. Here are some eid sms that you may use to wish eid greetings.
• Happy Eid Day. I hope your fast went fine and it is just time to enjoy some sweet dishes.
• Eid greetings. Luckily we made it to eid day. Prove human cannot die with fasting.
• Happy eid Mubarak. Love to you and family.
• Eid Mubarak. This is one day our kids love the most as its eiddy time. So have your pocket full when youcome around my kids. Lol
Mehndi and Choreiyan for girls
Mehndi are choreiyan is another specialty of eid. You can even gift them to girls of any age on Chand raat. Mehndi is heena and is used to create unique and beautiful designs in hands. You can greet eid with these.
Eid cards
Eid is also greeted via eid cards that say happy eid Mubarak and eid greetings. You can also send ecards. These days many online eid cards are available. The best part about ecards for eid is that they are free and yet awesome.
Eiddy
Eiddy is more of a custom to celebrate and greet eid. It is a sum of money that elders give to younger ones when they meet each other on eid. Most of the time it is the children of the house that love this part of eid. Many children collect money from each elder member of house and then compare it with their siblings, cousins and friends.
