You would have heard about the fact that Valentines Day is the second largest event after Christmas and is celebrated all over the world. But honestly speaking that is just the half truth. Many Muslim countries do not celebrate Valentines Day as they consider it related to some historical mishap done to them on this day. Though youngsters do celebrate Valentines Day in these countries but most of the time they are also stopped to do so.
The second fact on Valentines Day is that it is the teachers that get the maximum number of cards and gifts on Valentines Day by their student. The controversy in this fact is that why actually teachers get the cards and gifts. Yes, Valentines Day do means the day of romance but it has nothing to do with the romance between small children and teachers. Of course excluding some cases. But this is a benefit for teachers. Isn’t it?
The third fact on Valentines Day is that women receive a lot of flowers on Valentines Day. And the controversy on this fact is that being the month of February most of the countries have end of winter or almost spring weather on Valentines Day. Cupid is the son of Venus who was the god of love and beauty. Here is the controversy and some more related facts on this one. First an arrow is a thing that would hurt someone and yes love do hurts a lot. Second, why a baby with an arrow was actually chosen to make people fall in love. I mean why not the mother herself. The evil women.
