Another hits songs in American idol audition. Footprints in the Sand Lyrics is top on music menu. Jessica Furney, last year’s Janis Joplin manque, who now has had a ‘makeover’ and looks totally boring as a contestant of the American Idol “Best of the Rest� show.
Wednesday night at the show audition she sang one of Simon’s co-writes, “Foot prints in the Sand”, and makes it on to the show! Though all have to sit and wait through one more round of audition to spot the “best of the rest”.
The audience really appreciated her voice and selection of the song. She did a great job all commented this.
This episode of American idol yielded another stand-out in the last nights show named Hope Johnson; she has seven siblings and grew up poor. She’s a pretty girl with big eyes and a nice smile, Judges were totally smitten. She sang “I Hope You Dance” and hey, there’s that one male judge again! She is good and very charismatic, though not the best voice we’ve heard. She doesn’t sing through her sentences. The judges say much the same thing but she gets four yes votes.
American Idol airs at 7 p.m. Tuesdays and 8 p.m. Wednesdays on Fox.
