I first saw Jennifer Joanna Aniston as Rachel Green on a famous television series “Friends” in 1994. She was cute, full of life and very talented. Her fabulous performance in Friends had earned her respect and a global reputation among spectators of television shows as the program was a huge success. The show ended in 2004 and Jennifer Aniston had become the highest paid television actress of all times by then. Not everyone gets a $1 million paycheck per episode and five Emmy nominations for a television show. 
Jennifer’s father John Aniston is Greek and her mother Nancy Dow is of a Scotitish-Canadian decent. Jennifer Joanna Aniston was born on February 11th, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. Her family moved to New York after spending a year in Greece. She graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts in Manhattan after attending Rudolf Steiner School. Before moving to Los Angeles, California in 1989 she went through a number of part-time jobs such as telemarketer, messenger and a waitress.
Her first television role was in Molloy (never heard of it) and Camp Cucamonga (didn’t do well either). She went through a lot of scorned television shows and series like The Edge, Muddling Through, Quantum Leap, Herman’s Head, and Burke’s Law. She lost hope and thought of giving up after tremendously mocked-by-critics horror film Leprechaun (1992). We may never have seen a true talented beauty on our television screens if she really would have given it up. After a shower of failures the first ray broke through after auditioning for Friends, a show that made her a millionaire and a star to be envied.
During her appearance in Friends, she started to look for roles in movies as well. After her debut in 1992′s Leprechaun, she managed to get into supporting roles in Dream for an Insomniac, and She’s the One in 1996. Her first lead role came in Picture Perfect (1997). Throughout the late 1990’s she appeared in various films till it was “Bruce almighty” in 2003 that earned her stardom she longed for in film industry. Then Along Came Polly in 2004, Derailed and Rumor Has it in late 2005. Her next box office hit came at the end of 2008 Marley & Me, which earned a worldwide gross of over $242,000,000.
She has appeared in various commercials for Walls, Heineken, Loreal, and Microsoft (Windows 95). She starred in Melissa Etheridge’s music video “I Want to be in Love” in 2001. Jennifer released her personal brand of perfume for women in July 21, 2010 at Harrods in London by the name of Jennifer Aniston leaving an anticipation of a fragrance for men as well. Not much of a business woman, with a net worth of over $110 million, she is one of the 10 richest women in entertainment industry.
Jennifer has been quite adventurous in her personal life. She dated a co-star Charlie Schalatter in 1990 and a musician Adam Duritz for a brief duration in 1995. After dating Tate Donovan (1995-1998), she met Brad Pitt and got married to him on July 29, 2000 in Malibu. Their marriage didn’t work for long and they divorced on March 25, 2005. She then dated Vince Vaughan followed by their split in 2006. Then came Paul Sulfur in 2007 for a few months and John Mayer in 2008.
