Learning of nouns and verbs occurs in different parts of the brain

News Worldwide — In current events technology, info is added that the scientists have recently revealed that the part of the brain that is activated for the learning of a new noun is different from the part that is activated for learning of a verb. The scientist studied this by using the technology of functional magnetic resonance that took the brain images.

“Learning nouns activates the left fusiform gyrus, while learning verbs switches on other regions (the left inferior frontal gyrus and part of the left posterior medial temporal gyrus),”said Antoni RodrÃÂguez-Fornells.
This type of usage of functional magnetic resonance is part of the current events technology. The research team reveals that numerous patients with issues of brain damage show problem in working with such words and such individuals learn nouns before verbs. Taking this information further, the experiments devised a way to see whether these differences are visible in the brain structure or not.
For this experiment, they chose 21 people and gave them a test to learn new nouns and verbs. They studied the neural reactions by using functional magnetic resonance imaging and found that new noun and verbs activated two different parts of the brain. This research work is a big contribution in the psychological as well as technological discoveries.
