WSU has the 2010 NCAA College Baseball Tournament plan.
On May 31 Monday the NCAA College Baseball Tournament announced the names of 64 teams which would be the part of a chance at the 2010 College Baseball World Series
Among these NCAA Baseball tournament 2010 Washington State University is one team that will be playing tin the field.
It is the second consecutive year that
WSU has made it into the NCAA Baseball Playoffs for the second time this year which has provided them another opportunity to find postseason accomplishment in the most esteemed of college baseball tournaments.
The overall record of Washington State this season was 34-20, posting a 15-12 record in a very tough Pac-10 Conference.
This year conference toughness was pointed out when Arizona State, which won the regular season Pac-10 championship, is the No. 1 overall seed in the 2010 NCAA Tournament.
There are many other Pac-10 teams which made it to the tournament too, such as UCLA, Oregon, and Arizona just to name a few.
News reporters reported that these teams received their marching orders on May 31st tool, and all of these Pac-10 teams would play in variation regional tournaments.
Any team which makes the 2010 NCAA Baseball Tournament is taken into a four team grouping. In those four teams is played a double-elimination tournament, where one team emerges to play in the Super Regional’s or basically the second round. Just 16 teams emerge from the Regionals, and just eight teams emerge from the Super Regional’s to make up the final field of eight teams that will play for the 2010 College Baseball World Series.
