Obama cities security flaws amid Yemen

Barack Obama lashed out systematic intelligence failures over an attempted attack on a US jet amid reports on Wednesday, that Washington was planning reappraisal strikes against target in Yemen.
The US president on Tuesday was told , there had been warnings of possible Christmas holidays attacks and information that the Nigerian would be bomber was a threat but the date was not properly dispersed.
It was reported by CNN that the US and Yemen were reviewing targets for strikes after a local Al-Qaeeda associate claimed liability for the attempt to designate chemicals stored in the world be bombers under parts. The man accused of trying to blow up the North West air liner over Detroit, 23 years old Umar Farook, Abdul Mutalab was in Yemen until earlier this month.
Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Kurbi said “of course there are a number of Al-Qaeeda operatives in Yemen, they may actually plan for attacks like the one we have just had in Detroit.
