News world wide rfk bridge: It is reported by news world wide that New York City Police is investigating a dumped U-Haul or Ryder truck on the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge that caused key traffic problems on Wednesday night. It seemed as the truck was malfunctioning and leaking fuel.
Witnesses reported seeing a man fleeing the truck. It was also told that a smell of gasoline was also coming from the vehicle.

The NYPD’s Bomb Squad and Emergency Service Unit instantly responded to inspect the vehicle, whilst MTA Bridges and Tunnels officers shut down all lanes for more than an hour. Police officers cautiously opened the truck and discovered that it was empty, the NYPD said.

The bridge has been stopped up to traffic. Emergency services officers along with the bomb Squad and the fire department are reacting to the scene. The officialdoms are taking no probabilities after the failed bomb threat in Times Square over the weekend in which an explosives-laded vehicle was left on 45th Street.

The Robert F. Kennedy Bridge was formerly known as the Triborough Bridge. It is a complex of three separate bridges connecting Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx.
