The Supreme Court of Pakistan may have passed a land mark judgment but still it may not be received well by large quartets of population. Corruption has strengthened itself so vividly in Pakistani society that it has become the norm of life.

The recent judgment passed seems to undo the evils of a dictator but this is only a smoke serene above a volcano. This verdict may be able to clear this smoke only if other more serious corruption cases are not taken head-on by the present judiciary.

The most important is the revelation of facts and records that ISI sponsored IJI in 1988 and 1990 and bribed all main stream and local political parties to form an alliance against People’s party for which tens of millions of rupees were distributed amongst them. While NRO was floated by a dictator to prolong his position on top the direct involvement of Military bureaucracy to change the election results was more serious offense which is bearing its adverse effects till dates.

The covert operations against democratic forces did’nt stop here as after PPP came to power all efforts were made to destabilize the elected government and their nefarious design did severely hurt democracy in Pakistan.

The honorable Supreme court must also take into account the acts of all those that have been against the state and constitution of Pakistan. The heads have started rolling here so lets shake the body as well.
