TB is a disease of lungs caused due to bacteria called Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In the early stages, according to disease symptoms experts, the patient might not show any signs.
According to the disease symptoms experts, the common symptoms of tuberculosis may include:
• Weight loss
• Loss of energy
• Loss of appetite
• Fever
• Increasing cough
• Sweating at night
• Flu-type symptoms
• Chills
• Fatigue
The disease symptoms experts have told the health news reporters that TB cannot be diagnosed easily; instead, it takes some time to be discovered in the body of the infected person.According to disease symptoms news reporters, the disease of Tuberculosis is particularly divided into two types called pulmonary tuberculosis & extra pulmonary tuberculosis.
The pulmonary tuberculosis is further divided into five types that are:
1. Primary TB pneumonia: this type of TB is highly contagious and found in individuals having weak immune system, particularly children.
2. Laryngeal TB: this form of TB affects the vocal cord area and is contagious.
3. Cavitary TB: in this form of TB, large cavities are formed in the lungs
4. Miliary TB: In this form of TB, small granules are formed in the lungs, which can be seen through an X-ray machine.
5. TB Pleurisy: it is characterized by chest pain, shortness of breath and fluid in lungs.
Extra pulmonary tuberculosis is further divided into 7 types that are:
1. Adrenal Tuberculosis: it affects adrenal glands
2. Lymph node disease: it causes enlargement of lymph nodes
3. Osteal Tuberculosis: it affects the bones.
4. TB Peritonitis: it affects outer lining of intestine
5. Renal TB: it causes pyuria and effects reproductive organs.
6. TB Meningitis: it is fatal causing brain tumor and strokes.
7. TB Pericarditis: it affects the heart
