Among the biggest supporters of HTML5 we have the name of Apple. Well if Apple thinks this way there would be a reason for this and here it is. Steve Jobs undoubtedly said that he thinks HTML5 new web standard is the future of the web.
To demonstrate what, precisely, it means by this that HTML5 is the future, Apple launched a HTML5 display case.
Here it displayed what a HTML5-capable browser may do without the requirement to install any more plugins.
News reporters state that the showcase was simple and graceful as ever where Apple made some demos of this technology in use. One of the demonstrations some text texted was typed, speedily changed font, its size and transparency, rotate it or add a shadow effect. While an additional one allows the user browse through a horizontal, vertical or grid-shaped gallery of images, as a particularly impressive demo lets the user spin a 3D object by clicking and dragging.
Apple’s puts the message clear that HTML5 is mature enough for wide adoption, and sites which require add-ons to display content are a thing of the past.
