News Worldwide — There are various animals which are used by human beings for eating meat but cows are the one that are greatly responsible for the climate change on our earth.
According to current health news, cows are the bigest consumers of more energy intensive intake than any other farm animals do. Moreover, they also produce more methane that is known to be a power green house gas.
But the case is totally different for the grass-fed cows, they put a totally opposite effect. We all know that grass is such a resource that is perennial. The animal health and nutrition experts have revealed that if cattle and other ruminants are allowed to graze in the pastures full of greenery, these animals would consume the and cut the blades stimulating new growth. In addition, their trampling will help in fertilizing the land and they would dug other decaying organic matter into the soil making it a rich humus. A healthy soil keeps the carbon di oxide underground, away from atmosphere we breath in.
Although the grass-fed cows generate greater amount of methane as compare to conventional ones, their total productions are lesser because they serve the soil sequester carbon.
The current health news reveals that cow meat is very essential for it gives many nutrients at the same time which include Protein, Zinc, Phosphorous, Iron and B-Complex Vitamins.
