Why do we get addicted to anxiety drugs?

News Worldwide — The current health news reveals that anxiety drugs are in effects of addiction, no different from heroin and cannabis.
The researchers and health and nutrition experts have found out that benzodiazepine drugs put forth a cheering effect by activating the act of neurotransmitters known as gamma-amino butyric (GABA) in the same method as the addictive drugs like opioids and cannabinoids.

Thus, both addictive drugs and anxiety reducing drugs have the same effects on the brain of individual. Both are said to be pleasure providing or in other words pain reducing. They stimulate the gratification hormone in the brain. This hormone is known as ‘dopamine’
People who have greater amount of dopamine in the brain, easily get addicted.
According to current health news, anxiety is a psychological problem that is most commonly found in people. The study made by US National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) reveals that over 18 percent of American adults are the anxiety patients.
The anxiety disorder involves panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder or (GAD), post-traumatic stress disorder and all types of phobias.
Anxiety is mostly found psychological disorder in today’s world but most of the people who are suffering with it are either not aware of it or take drugs to reduce their anxiety creating brain activities but these drugs have very harmful affects unlike other medicines.
